I used to help out on the bar at Whitburn Cricket Club. One day one of the lads came to the bar and said "can I get a pint of lager please?" I replied no. He looked puzzled and asked why not. I replied (in full pedant mode) that as he was not working the bar, he was not in a position to get a pint of lager. That was my job. I explained that if he were to rephrase his request "can I have a pint of lager" I would be happy to provide him with one.

He replied "Just gerrus a pint Man!". I happily complied. ;)

'To be fair"

"Unreal"

People who, when on holiday, say they're going to 'take in' a game

God that sounds so bloody pretentious.

Saying something is a “ball ache”. Can’t they just use frustrating?

There seem to be a lot of americanisms creeping in where they like to use more words than necessary:
At this moment in time - now
Right now - now
Going to swing by - go to
A whole bunch of - a lot of
