Blew over.
Doesn't this just show that it's got everything to do with winning and picking up points and it's only in defeat that they vent their anger at Ashley.

To me if your that determined to get rid of Ashley you would continue with the protests and Ashley out chants even when winning and playing well

All this shit just proves that if the mags are winning they couldn't give a fuck if they weren't spending fortunes the 2 faced fuckers

Absolutely not, I’d take one relegation but in your current state you are miles away from the top level.

I agree with your second statement but there’s a big chunk (myself included) that aren’t looking to renew next year.

I'd not say miles away mind. Getting promotion from the Championship will be undoubtedly harder than promotion from League 1. Don't think people don't understand that but with momentum, an increase in turnover and some better decisions i'd say within the next 2/3 seasons we can be at around the mix for at least Play Offs.

Crucial we get promotion this year. Then stability for a year or two in the Championship before building and pushing on. That's the plan and I think it's reasonably achievable.

It was more a general point. Undoubtedly on the field NUFC are doing far better than SAFC but I know a lot of black and white lads that have general apathy towards youse atm. They're either not renewing or going to games and not really arsed about whether you win lose or draw which I think is not only sad but dangerous for the future of your club. I still think i'd rather be in our position at the moment.

The same way they won the Fairs Cup ....

.... how ironic

It isn't a reading library, if you want better stuff post better stuff instead of having a tantrum

The default being what? They met the qualifying standards of the tournament. If by default means not every club was eligible

Another way of looking at this qualification by default. To win the Inter City you had to be in the top 10 of English football. To win the Third & Fourth division cup you have to be in the bottom 48 of English football. Sunderland werent good enough to get into the Fairs Cup in 1968. Newcastle werent bad enough to get into the Checkatrade in 2019. (waits to see how many responses feel the need to mention under 23 kids)

I keep telling you, I only post stuff so you'll waste your time replying ...
... I don't even read your responses man.

Mags clubbing together to pay for legal help for those that went onto the pitch at Bournemouth. Seems a decent gesture tbf,

Fuck off man you're a nothing club its as simple as that you've won nowt for f***ing decades, the only thing you've got is the support and the only reason you've got the support is the fact that you're 1 club in a massive city and massive surrounding areas.

It’s Friday evening and you are on our forum trying to big up a Fairs Cup win that happened so long ago your da hadn’t started school.
Idiot.

Much has been said on this subject over the years. Should we ever be lucky enough to capture 'a moment in time' when everything comes together as it did for them many years ago now, we must remember four things:

1) Don't financially risk your club
2) Build for a sustainable future
3) Don't adopt an entitled attitude
4) Win something

On all four counts, they failed miserably but point 3) haunts them and the whole football nation recognises this as fact.
How embarrassing.
