Not in a cup final though only through default like every other prem team :lol::lol:
It's a bit different taking 3000 fans to watch a league game than taking 40000 to watch a cup final but you wouldn't know that as you're the only North East team never to play a final at the new wemberlee :lol::lol:

The same way they won the Fairs Cup ....

.... how ironic

Dipped in to this thread again after a few weeks. Still school playground stuff. Im outta here.

It isn't a reading library, if you want better stuff post better stuff instead of having a tantrum

That's what I said, it'll hurt them like it hurts me, I'm devastated here, I've always dreamed of watching our u23's win a meaningless trophy.

Who unbanned this waste of oxygen?

The fact you recognise our players says it all, I would not recognise any of yours..... except my nephew!

Won’t recognise any of our players supposedly.

What about Cattermole who took out your star midfielder when we spanked you 3-0?

True, dream about finishing mid-table in the Championship first, eh?

Baby steps and that...

I dare bet you'd rather be in our position if it meant getting rid of Ashley.... you are merely puppets in his game.

Btw can we change the title to Newcastle United FC? If we're giving the bassas a thread a least name them correctly

The Mags have come up with one ludicrous scheme after another to get rid of Ashley ...
... he just sits back and laughs at them.

Then they come on here to tell us what a great club it is

They'd be better off focusing on why their manager refuses to sign a new deal despite having been given what he wanted in the transfer market. The press would too.

Absolutely not, I’d take one relegation but in your current state you are miles away from the top level.

I agree with your second statement but there’s a big chunk (myself included) that aren’t looking to renew next year.

Not surprised with the turgid shite the FSW dishes out - that said I’ve still got a season ticket after much much worse.
What does that say about you as a supporter? Fair weather? 92er?

It's not about the performance level of the club. But, you already know that.

Newcastle are only 3 or 4 signings away from being a solid top 10 team imo, Ashley won't spend that though he panic bought Almiron when he realised going down was a serious threat.

That signings reinvigorated the whole team and he'l do exactly the same thing as always in the summer, look for bargains and spend in January if required.

Still can't see them going down no matter what under Benitez, if he leaves and they employ someone like McClaren again it could easily go tits up.

It's going to be an interesting summer if Rafa does leave.

They don't even own Rondon and they haven't got half a dozen decent premier league players.

True, apparently Everton are interested in Rondon now.

They do get back Gayle who is a decent striker imo but not on Rondons level.

I'd say they have got more than half a dozen:

Dubravka
Schar
Lascelles
Shelvey
Longstaff
Ritchie
Almiron

Dummet although poor on the ball always looks solid defensively, he very rarely gets beaten in a 1v1
Yedlin has also improved for them compared to when at us
Fernandez and Lejeune look decent
Diame despite his age still seems pretty mobile
Ki still looks good on the ball as he did with us

IMO they have a decent side but Rondon will be a massive miss as he is their focal point and makes it stick up top

Shelvey is very hit and miss. Longstaff is a kid, a handful of games prove nothing.

They don't have one decent winger or striker. A poor, bottom end of the table side well behind the likes of Watford, Everton and West Ham on paper.
