That's what Portsmouth are doing, only a few hours difference mind but still selling to fans who went to Checkatrade games before season ticket holders.

Monday, March 11 (8am) – online and phone sales only
Supporters who have purchased a ticket for at least one of Pompey’s previous Checkatrade Trophy games this season will be able to buy up to six tickets per client reference number.
Monday, March 11 (1pm) – online and phone sales only
All season ticket holders and former shareholders will be able to purchase up to six tickets per client reference number.

Flags and Instruments
Fans must obtain permission if they wish to take flags and musical instruments. Wembley Stadium have strict policies and you will not be able to enter with these items if you do not have prior permission. Please contact [email protected] if you wish to obtain permission

I’m a ST holder who has not been to one Checkatrade game (don’t live in the area). I’m very much expecting first dibs on a Wembley ticket though. Should we get there, of course
 
Nee idea how to get a couple of tickets as an exile. I wonder if the club would be interested in putting a few hundred into a lottery so we've at least got a chance?

We are getting 38,000 tickets. We've 24,000 season ticket holders (not all of who will want a ticket). There is a good chance it's going to general sale. Need to remember there is almost zero corporate interest in it so no loss of tickets there like for other finals.

I don't think it will be general sale as such, it'll be purchase history imo - especially within the last few years.

If 10,000 of those ST holders want 6 tickets a piece for friends and family etc there’s not a chance of general sale imo

No way will 10,000 want 6 tickets each. The members of my family who want to go already have season tickets and I don't have any friends :cry:

I'm sending my live stream purchase record for the season if we get there. That should be enough to get a ticket :lol:
 
Season ticket holders will get 1 ticket each, then those with a customer number (i.e purchase history) will get 1 ticket each, then to general sale.
