So, IF we get there we'd get the east stand?

Is that the same end we had vs man city in the league cup final?

This cup for division 3,4 and under 21 teams makes our intertoto win look like the champions league.

Where does the open top bus start and finish?..i'm sure people will line the streets
If we get to the final, I will be there. If we win, I will line the streets or wherever with my mates and family. Thats because I am a Sunderland supporter and love my team, you scruffy duck fiddler. Did you enjoy going back to school this week, or have you been moved on by the lollipop lady?

I get where you're coming from but you could break the journey up and stop at the same services as most of the coaches stop at so he can enjoy that 'atmosphere, then try and make the car journey a bit more fun by giving him 20p everytime he sees another SAFC car/coach.
Tbh this has been on my mind a few weeks and didn't know what to do. I should have asked the bairn, as I have tonight after he's been playing footy and in his words "I want to go dad but don't want to travel too long or stay in a hotel" Said we can't do one without others and he is saying he doesn't want to go and will watch it with his grandad on the telly, as long as he gets match program. He thought Wembley was only as far as the sol, but in the other direction  he moans on a 1h20 drive to Leeds to see family.

I suppose if you’ve gave him the option and he now ‘gets’ the travelling and has still chosen not to go then you can go with a clear ‘Dad’ conscience. He’s old enough to hopefully have many trips to Wembley

That was it. I would have felt rotten going without him, but he's made that decision himself. I've just promised him we'll go to an away game beginning of next season, that isn't too far away.

Getting the tube back KX is the worst bit. Wembley park is a nightmare at full time. I'll have my two with me and it'll be down and back on a family friendly coach. I'm not messing with the trains.

The trains are worrying me a bit. I’m tempted to pay the £100 extra to go first class in the hope that it’s better managed than standard.

As long your seats are reserved it's fine coming back. It's getting to KX that's the ball ache.

Isn't Wembley coach parking horrendous too? Sure get stuck got hours waiting to get out
There's been a lot of work done around Wembley since 2014, so it might be better now.

Yeah mate. If I remember right, some lads were stuck for three hours in the car park

Aye. Remember that. Sure I was past Leeds nearly home and my mate didn't move an inch the last time round

If you're going that way, I hope so. Couldn't think of nowt worse than been stuck, not moving trying to keep kids entertained

Had a bit crack with you prior n think you may regret it. Having same dilema planning it with a 12 year old, a lot different to city game but wel manage.
Work/stay in london a lot n theres a million places to entertain him.

I was talking to him last night about it and he's said he doesn't want to go of we get there. He thought Wembley was about as far away as the sol but other direction  said we'd need to get a train or drive for 4 hours and stay in a hotel and he wasn't keen at all. Said I'll take him to an away game start of next season a bit closer to home.
