What is interesting is how all the women liked him, society liked him (without knowing what he had done).

Is he an atypical serial killer? I would have thought most were social rejects of one kind or another.

The judges comments about bearing him no Ill will(I think that's what he said)were bizzare like.the man's a sick fuck and people think he's great:eek:

It depends what you call an atypical serial killer. He follows the usual pattern of a traumatic and abusive childhood and an observable trigger that started his killing spree - being rejected by Stephanie Brooks - a clear MO and little regard for human life that are common in serial killers. What fascinates people with Bundy is the drama of his story - the escapes, the defending himself and the widely held and probably correct opinion that he could have been so successful.

I think he has a lot in common with Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer, but little in common with, say the Golden State Killer and the Zodiac Killer.

The idea that serial killers are all sad, lonely men sitting in a grimy bedsit poring over trophies should be long dead by now. The fact is that they come in all shapes and sizes and have very little in common other than the tell tale signs of a serial killer - background/MO/Victim pattern/Trigger. There is no one size fits all approach.

There is another four part series on Bundy on the Really channel. It’s available to download all parts

For me it was more interesting once he was caught , how he escaped and evaded police for so long while still murdering , then when finally caught again the whole playing up to the media and the trial where he decided to defend himself , if watched all that as a film you’d think it was far fetched

The scariest part is that he was a clever bastard....bit like Ed Kemper...these were bright people but very very sinister....calculated, planned, never frenzied...I doubt their heart rates even went up...

Bundy’s Smile unnerves me....it’s almost like there’s a demon inside and I don’t really scare easily...

Cracking ski mask. I want one exactly the same for next winter.

In one scene the judge starts apologising for finding him guilty ! Goes on about how clever and likeable Bundy is andvwgat a great lawyer he would have made if he had chosen a different path

I know, said something like ‘you chose a different path, I feel for you’ True though

Find it odd the way he’s talked about as being a right charmer. He comes across as an absolute f***ing weirdo.

Is it worth watching? Usually the stuff on those kind of channels is a load of cack.
I’ve watched both and imo, the Really channels is a little bit better, but with all these documentaries, a lot has been seen before over the years.

It’s up to you
