bloody hell - had me nearly in tears.

You are some club.

I was at Maine road when you brought 15,000 with Garry Bennett playing and you got relegated. Then came up there for the first game at the sol.

Then about 4 times when you seemed to always win1-0 in the last minute.

Then of course in London when you were great in the league cup final.

I genuinely think your support is as good as any in the country and I can’t wait to see you get back.

I was impressed by Coleman to be honest In the programme and wondered why he didn’t stay and finish the job of bringing you back. Also is that chief executive still with you? He seemed passionate enough but a bit clueless?

Anyway wishing you all the best and hope you get back up automatically and apologies for rodwell!!!

Without a doubt my second club and a genuinely held belief shared by a huge majority on our forum blue moon that you are a fantastic bunch and a great club.

All the best
Fantastic that someone independent would say this about our football club. Appreciate you posting that

All the best to Manchester City

The lad you got on loan with the dark hair was shite. I was screaming at the screen at him. The Dutch lad messed his finger up and the other one should give up and get a real job.

Have they all gone?

We've still got Ruiter, the Dutch lad. He's been doing alright in the Mickey Mouse cups for us. The new feller McLaughlin is a different class though.

You’ve described them all in one word there mate.

Ruiter was the best of a (very) bad bunch, he’s our backup keeper now. The others managed to find other clubs somehow.

What course were you doing?
Sport and Leisure management.

He came for a couple of lectures, but joined in with all activities. One lecture was by a referee, whose name has left me, but he reffed Man Utd v Everton in the fa cup final and sent off Kevin Moran

That there is the exact reason why I never leave before full time, the scenes that day will remain with me forever.

I am trying to recall those 1-0 wins. Once Daren bent scored with a header at the same end as the one posted on here. In another one I think Adam Johnson (can I say his name?) scored with a curling shot at the old away end. Think the first game at the sol was 3-1? You were at your best with Quinn, Philips and summerbee at the time.

I remember after one of those games telling my dad that we had made a mistake buying David Silva and he was too lightweight for the premier league. Shows what I know.

Dutch lad (Ruiter) is still here.
Steele 3rd choice and Brighton, and Camp the tramp is still regularly f***ing up in the championship with Birmingham
From the three of them Ruiter was probably the most unlucky with the injury and not really getting as much of a crack at it as the other two. Also finds himself at a lower level than them two fuckups as well. Bet he can't wait for the summer

There was one where Phil Bardsley scored the only goal
