It shows that when enough time passes, some people start disbelieving things that were scientific fact not too long ago.

The moon landings is another one, even though there is no scientific proof to to back up their 'argument'. When moutains of proof is provided in the contrary, they just ignore it as conspiracy. Thats why you never win with them.
Interesting, but do you have any proof to back up what you say?

Thank got internet conspiracy theories are the only thing where masses of people blindly follow something largely based on an emotional belief while ignoring all actual facts, experts and real information.

Imagine what would happen if that sort of thing broke out in real life?

What! like religion or something?

How do they explain the moon?

Is that a disk too?
I have asked that a few times, what about the moon and other planets?

Water apparently can not stick to a spinning ball of sufficient mass, so I have asked if gas can. Always ignored, because we can actually see Jupiter spinning.

As I don't have to fly a plane or circumnavigate the globe on a ship...I am ok with a flat Earth, I'm, not sure it is going to get the unemployable employed though.... and then the round Earth thing would begin... where it's a lot easier to get how day and night side work on a turning axis...

Nee good asking on here man, I'm still waiting for someone to explain the tides.

It started off as a meme on 4chan along with Hollow Earth and Soyboys. Unfortunately, as so often happens with 4chan, newfags don't know it's a meme wrapped in irony with a layer of sarcasm and take it 100% seriously.

Roll on 6 years later and we have people who actually believe the Earth is flat.

Reminds me of what happened with the whole MSG false scare. One letter to the editor that sparked decades of people being afraid of MSG without a single shred of actual evidence.

There is no belief that I've ever heard of about flat earth nobody believes the earth is flat.

There are people who genuinely believe that Soy milk makes you gay.
There were some strong articles that said that soy lowered testosterone levels in men and for a while I did avoid eating soy. I don't think there's conclusive evidence for either argument, so I avoid it as much as possible still just in case.
