This place.
We were on the road up Ben Lawers in Scotland and stopped in a lay-by and went for a walk.
Ended up here, and it was the most peaceful, beautiful place I've ever been

Spent a few days in Helsinki for work and thought the city was really good. The locals reckoned I might have a different opinion if I went in winter though.
Standouts for me: a long way up the Rio Negro in Brazil (tributary of the Amazon), Masai Mara, Istanbul, Ithaca in New York state.

I absolutely loved Los Angeles and inparticular the coast resorts of Venice and Santa Monica. Great atmosphere, weather, bars, loads to do.
Paris though, where I visit regularly through work is still my favourite city in the world. I love pretty much everything about it. The architecture, history, attitude, beauty, food, markets, style, nightlife, edgyness etc etc.
London for exactly the same reasons but Paris has that little bit more attitude that London lacks imo.

various spots in Vietnam and Cambodia.
In Thailand I went over to Koh Phangan, spoke to a guy with a truck and asked to go to somewhere remote, he took me and 2 others to a small resort that was nearly finished but not yet open and it was just us 3, one other couple and the family that were there working on it. I stayed in a little wooden cabin by the sea. It was pretty much the image you see of paradise. The family were chatty and they would cook us up food on their central restaurant hut thing by the pool. They said it was good to test out the equipment so we were helping. One point a boat came in with fish just caught, we helped bring some in, they immediately cooked it up on the beach and we sat with them and ate red snapper.

Aye loads, all depends what you’re into. You’ve got the killing fields, Angkor Wat etc in Cambodia then loads of history and war stuff in Vietnam.
Seeing this with my own eyes for the first time was special

I go to Paris every year and I find it to be boring to be honest. I went to Santa Monica and Venice Beach when I was in my teens, should probably go back as an adult and reassess.

Been to Paris a few times. I like it, but the amount of people that bother you near the famous sites put me off a bit
