Wasn't Chris Wilder on the shortlist but the owners only got as far as Jack Ross? Maybe should have at least gone through all the shortlist first?

I would love to know who people want instead of him. For me he's been great from the second he's walked in the door and has us looking good for promotion. Id be absolutely gutted if I woke up in the morning and he was no longer manager .

I like him and think he has done well overall so far. I wouldn’t aay great, but he has to kick us on now, we need to pick up results and improve performances.
 
Big risk bringing all the new lads straight in + the others who have been out injured, was hardly going to be a settled performance but just about got away with it v Wimbledon

Should sort itself with a weeks worth of training and actual specific preparation re the opposition for the new lads as he is clearly very capable

Could not agree more, Joe. This season is about getting out of this league. Don't care how we do it mate. More than happy to be prudent and build next year. JR is building and can get on with it

We would only go top if we won 3 games by 11 goals and we aren’t averaging a win a game so we arent on course to win the league.

Well we're 9pts off top with 3 games in hand. Win them and we go top, collect 1 more point than every other team from then on in and we win the league.
 
I will be honest and the theory of playing a lone striker up front at home on his own( unless it against Barce bloody lona) mythed me. Without sounding like Mike 4-4 f***ing 2 England manager Bassett, the key as a manager is not to lose first and fourmost. Now we have the personnel willing and here for the duration! Believe.....
 
I actually thought there were good signs today...keeper rolled the ball out and we tried to keep possession. I wish the CB’s would pass it to Leadbetter more out the back instead of out wide all the time. There were also too many times players missed a simple pass trying to put a ball in to a player covered by two or three defenders...

Even though it was ugly at times, it was still a better performance then the last couple of games, imo.
