I thought we were okay for a fair bit of the match today, and for a League One side which, should anyone be forgetting, is what we are.

Mostly we are trying to play, but lack a real focal point now. Hopefully Grigg will help there, Honeyman looked good today, as did Morgan and James. We badly needed a win and we won. Do for me that.
There are a lot of knackers on here who still think we are a premier league squad, forgetting the fact we parachuted through the championship last season.

as i say week in week out on here, we are having a very good season, all things considered.

We have a lot of good very expensive players. I’m not sure we are a good team.
I’m not sure grigg will make much difference we don’t create anything.

Stats tell us were a good team.

From what a Wigan fan was saying the other day on roker report when asked about Griggs strengths and how to play him his reaction was "At this level just give him the ball in and around the box and let him do the rest". it sounded pretty much like he's a very lively player with good movement and makes things happen in the final third himself. I'll take that over Maja being technically good but static and always wanting the ball played to feet so he can spin and create that bit of space.

we've also added leadbitter who is much better on the ball than any other central midfielder we have and Morgan who can run at people. we therefore should now possess a bit more variety.

Another dour performance. Week after week.

he can bang on about 2 defeats all season but the entertainment value at the moment is 2 out of 10.
Am just amazed this knacker got 5 likes , you all should put your heads together and form a wooden hut FFS.

Tin hat on but I would sack Ross after the match today.

Then move heaven and earth to persuade STEVEN BRUCE to be our new manager before he starts his job at SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY.
:oops::oops::oops::oops:
FFS.

Don’t know anywhere near enough about any of the new players to make a judgement.
I do t think we are a good team we just have had some good players capable of exceptional moments more than others. I suppose you can argue that makes us a good team.

maybe I should say were a strong team, with some really good players for this level. a bit like real Madrid at times where there quality rather than team work has got them through, albeit at massively different levels of course.

I don't know much about sterling or dunne but both are quite highly rated. leadbitter we know about, but Grigg's record alone at this level is exceptional. Ross seems to really rate Morgan too and he was a massive part of his St Mitten team, so those things and the return of one or two others should add some competition and a bit of quality.

I think I agree with the first part.
Not sure I know about leadbitter he has hardly played for a year and is getting on. Grigg should be ablout as close to guaranteed goals as you can get at this level but we haven’t been creating anything

I like the man and find him truthful and not a bullshitter but he needs to sharpen up the team tactics and pace and movement of his side
In my opinion we are now playing like a top half league 1 side and have settled into that mindset whereas at the beginning of the season the mood and mentality of the players was that we are above this and we are determined that this will be a one season visit only
That determination to get out of this league based on performances seems to have waned
It’s getting to crunch time And Jack needs to prove that he is the lad to get us out of this league at the first attempt
