I'd like to think we know what we're getting for our money with this lad though. Unlike signing the likes of Ndong who had probably never heard of us and couldn't even point Sunderland out on the map.
 
Has anybody seen anything about the supposed bid for the Barnsley midfield player this morning?

In the confusion of the last few minutes of the window there was a strong rumour we were in talks with him but seen no mention today. Presume it was fake news?
 
I think it is a tremendous signing for us allied with the Morgan deal, those 1-0’s which we inevitably balls up could well be something else now.
