Sorry but the revisionism in some quarters is remarkable.

I'm glad they've got their man but to say yesterday wasn't a scramble is blinkered beyond belief. Fair play to SD for putting his money where his mouth is but hopefully this serves as a lesson.

This was a scramble clearly, but it’s the total opposite in that we actually signed a senior striker - and the one we wanted from the off - this time. Hope that clarifies my post.
