We could have had 10 weeks between games, why would you keep someone here and possibly miss out on a deal when they said they would never play for us again.

Say we didnt agree the deal with Bordeaux, they then pull out of the deal, we dont get the £3.5 million, he refuses to play for the club again then leaves in the summer for next to nowt.

This and lets be honest Im not sure however bad his behaviour was morally (after we have established it was not criminal) it is nowhere near as morally bad as them twats who filmed themselves gang banging a 16 year old lass, that was a disgrace.

I have nothing against the guy (as honestly, I know little about his whole case), but it just seems like WE aren't the club that needs to bring him in. Johnson, now a trainer in trouble, all the while digging out from the mess of the previous 3-4 years...we simply aren't in a position to deal with the extra baggage.
