Ched Evans...

Good player at this level but probably not worth the chew on tbh, the Netflix thing had won us quite a few new followers around the world and tbh it wouldn't bring the sort of headlines i would want, this goes against what I really think in an ideal world anarl.

Aye with Adam Johnson and a physio allegedly grooming minors why not have another person connected to the club who has been involved in a sex offence trial. This better not be true.

100% this thank you for saying this.

Do you know him?? The guy made an error of judgement, even though he never did anything criminally wrong ,i dare say he is that person anymore.

Not condoning it, but I bet it’s rife in football that type of thing. A lot of the footballers people worship will all have their dirty little secrets, as a lot of people do. If we were trying to resign Johnson, I could see the outrage, but Evans has been cleared in a court of law. He’s not my first choice one bit, but it could be the reality come tomorrow.

No, I don't know him but I read the court evidence recorded during his appeal. He may not be a rapist in the eyes of the law but there's a good reason he was originally convicted - his behaviour that night was repugnant.

He can ply his trade anywhere that'll have him, but I - for one - would be very upset if that was at SAFC.

Good post. This would be a bad move and a really desperate signing. Once again we've left it late and we'll get a desperate loan, Evans or another. We never learn FFS!

Lots of people mentioning the "not guilty in a court of law" line because they know if they had to defend him purely based on his actions they wouldnt be able to.

Is there not a striker out there with a above average league one record who hasn't been a national disgrace? I bet there is. I'd rather we signed them.

I have heard a few tales over the years about celebrated footballers who you think butter wouldn't melt get up to worse than Ched but that isn't the point, it would bring negativity when we are trying to gather support not split it, shame but that's the truth of it.
