Regardless of everything that went on with him, i dont think he is good enough and if we do get him i'd hope it was as our 2nd striker signing on a loan until end of the season.

He is probably League 1 level at best and 30 years old so wouldnt want to give him too much of a contract and would worry about how well he would do in Championship if we were to go up.

As a 3rd choice behind Wyke and another signing and a deal until the summer wouldn't be too bad

I'm not sure what to think. If I'm honest I didn't follow the case that closely. Based on the little bit I do know, then this is probably a pretty sensible point of view.

Imagine what this board will be like if we end up not going up and playing Forest Green Rovers next season. I think there better alternatives but if it’s a case of him or no one would settle for it.

DOesn't look good does it? It seems they were banking on Wigan selling Grigg in the end but the bid accepted for Vaughan has scuppered that.
