Stewart Donald didnt say we had a limited budget though - he said Jack Ross could have whatever he needed to strengthen the squad. Looks like after the Maja fee we are again spending a net negative amount

If I were you I would find a darkened room and lie down and have a good cry.

What is it that makes you think Jack Ross isn't being given what he wants?

Well for starters not selling your top scorer and replace him with an injury prone journeyman and an ex player who was in his prime 10 years ago

Oh...I see. Keep a player who’s gonna not play for the club again and get zero for him in four months time. Don’t buy the top goalscorer at this level for the last few years when he’s available. And ignore passion for the club in a player who will take a massive pay cut.

Thank fuck you are not running the club you half wit.

Sunderland are looking into possible deals for free-scoring League One strikers Tom Eaves (Gillingham) & John Marquis (Doncaster). They may turn to either - or both - with their attempts to sign Wigan striker Will Grigg proving difficult

Can’t imagine we’d be able to afford both

don't think we'll get him

Puts the ball back in Wigan’s court, we’ll see soon enough if they want to sell

Weren’t we after two anyway? Meaning one of them should have been in the works?

Future of the club very much on the line here!
