What would you suggest doon toon??? Would love to hear your version of how to get promoted from league 1.....

To be fair to the poster we would be weaker upfront then we were going into the window. Ross has said he wants 2 strikers so we need to being in 2 strikers.

Donald and Methven said if we turned up they'd deliver the team, dont think 2 loans and a free would be particularly promising for a financial outlay. Then obviously you have Grigg coming in but we've sold Maja. We need to add more than just Morgan & Grigg going forward.

Well for starters not selling your top scorer and replace him with an injury prone journeyman and an ex player who was in his prime 10 years ago

Totally agree this comment. What we are being told by our management team and what is happening do no gel together.

We don't have a limited budget compared to the rest of the league in fairness. They said we need 2 strikers so we need to add 2 strikers.

Agreed. We should be looking at that Belgian lad Lukaku from Man United. Strong, solid and can finish. Exactly what we need. Maybe get in De Bruyne from City. Another lad from Belgium and adds that bit of creativity.

Really disappointed with Stewart Donald and Jack Ross. Fancy only bringing in one of League One's most consistent and best goalscorers, a proven Championship midfielder and a Scottish International.

Whisper it quietly mate. I'm hoping we have someone who hasn't been reported on that we are hoping to bring in but looks like all our eggs are in the Will Grigg basket & they don't want to sell him.

The club made the Maja deadline public because they wanted to sell him if he didn't sign up imo. They were already chasing Grigg so I am hoping they already have a Maja replacement lined up. Getting close to the deadline though.

But we're not in debt?

Donald himself said debt wasn't a bad thing anarl as he was looking for a loan to help raise money so he could run the club.

We'll be trying for two strikers undoubtedly. Ross and Donald have both said it throughout the window and Donald's reiterated it on Twitter a couple of times in the last few days.
