Downie was saying on the RR podcast we have had 4 bids turned down despite 2 of them matching their value but were confident of a 5th being accepted.

Wonder what makes us so confident after twice being told how much they wanted, and matching it. I also wonder how far over his value we are paying.

Could be how payments are staged. we could match their value, but it might not give them much up front, which they may want/need for a replacement.
