I have no animosity towards Josh Maja. Water is wet. Players leave football clubs. I'd have liked him to stay, and hoped he would, as I think we'll really struggle to replace what he has. If someone offered me a pile of cash to do the same job for a different company, I'd probably want to do that, too. Good luck to the lad and thanks for the great goals.
 

Should make good content for the next series of STID. Someone else will step forward and fire us to automatic promotion now.
 
Glad he's gone..think it was having an effect in dressing room.if he doesn't want to commit to us through what we've been thru thanks but good riddance.better out there just need to find them

Will his wages be tripled, compared to what we have offered him? He's scoring a lot of goals, but in League 1. I don't think most people are so upset at him leaving, but the gutless and spineless way that he has gone about it. All this bollox about him telling JR and SD that he wants to stay and then as the OP's son, called him, like a snake he slithers off into the sunrise:neutral:

He's moving to the top flight of France, it's also a f***ing brilliant city with great weather. It's also chance to also develop his technique in a country that produces a lot more top and better players than we do over here.
Doesn't really take that much thinking about or explaining

Maja may well have been a bad influence in the dressing room and undermining the spirit within the team

No player is bigger than the club, we and him move on.

Not convinced he will make it to the very top, but I hope we have a sell on clause as Maja will be off from Bordeaux whenever it suits him.

The team spirit seemed fine whenever he scored players gan upto to celebrate with him so don't think he was a bad apple
