This. Pennies and a sell on fee would be my guess.
It's a shame because I would liked to have seen what he could do in a couple of games - he seemed highly rated by those around the club and there was genuine disappointment that his injury stopped him being available.

Highly rated by who exactly?

I don’t know enough about him but I tend to agree with you. His work ethic was clearly very good, he made an impact on the loans clubs he played for and he had some strength. I’d have liked to have seen him have a couple of games for us to judge. I guess the club have to balance his needs against the likely signings we make and also the development of other youngsters so I’m not going to cry about it.

if he was highly rated by the club they wouldnt have sold him..he is behind kimpioka and embleton just of the youngsters..and he is older than them..not all the academy players can make the grade..best of luck to him in future..

he has had loads of games for the manager to judge..he is behind players younger than him in the same position..

Yes I knew that, he mentioned it in the podcast. When he said there's money if Ross needs it, considering he's already come out and said he doesn't want many bodies in, just a striker, why do you automatically assume he means 2 to 3 million? Because I don't, more like 500k. 1 million absolute max.
Notice how you're conveniently missing off the 3 million part of your original posts now.

Why can we only spend 500k?You ain't even going to get will grigg for that like ffs

Apparently 2 million will bankrupt us even though it’s less than we will received for the Joel asoro, other poster talking nonsense
2 million spent in a careless way would be stupid..because if they dont care how they spoend it they keep doing it and enedn up giving it to shit footballers...that would make us go bust...but spenind 2 million sensibly? no problem..the owners are spending much more than that of their own resources this year..
