It's very easy to say that sort of thing, much harder to actually get it all to play out how you want though.

"buy good players who will help us win games" is a tactic I'm fairly sure the club are already thinking of, along with every other football club.

Yet how many transfers in football are "good transfers"

I’d rather give the money to Maja, who has proved he can score goals at this level, has proved to be a decent character to have around the club and could be developed into a better striker. Than spend 1 million on an unknown quantity?

I’m under the impression he’d rather be somewhere else, or at least his agent thinks so.

i think his agent sold him the idea he would get tottenham or bayern or city or somehting..he is still here because the offers made to him arent that good..

grifgg has done more in league one and champo than maja..he is the proven one..
 
There’s no guarantee that Grigg is just a league one level striker, in the right side he could score a few goals in the Championship I bet.

But now he’s injured, where does that leave us?

Three men wanted which I think is more than we all expected! But I can see what we need, it’s glaring.

No problem with us using the loan system for a couple of lads if it means breaking the bank on a significant player who could do a good job and have a bit promise.

Would love to see who JR & co. are talking about and sticking on their shortlist, I would imagine it’s a big strong centre midfielder, or a creative midfielder, and a left footed wide player.
