The injury could be a bargaining tool?! If hes out for 3/4 weeks its still worth trying to bring him in but could get him that little bit cheaper as he is carrying an injury

I get your view, we HAVE to get the signings right in january but if its a couple of weeks he is out for then it may be worth the slight risk as long as medical staffgive it the okay but we do need players to hit the ground running.. It was just food for thought!!

Must admit I don’t like the idea of Will Grigg being only the 10th ever player to be bought in league 1 for over a million. If we’re spending those sorts of big amounts it should be for young players that’ll appreciate in price imo.

Grigg is 26 and will always have a sell on value to other league 1 teams. We could definitely recoup our transfer fee on him .
