It's a double edged sword tho marra. We don't want to be signing League One players who cannot make the transition to the championship and have them on our payroll for two to three years cos IIRC that how the vicious spiral that we got into, under Short, started!

I’m sure ALS were tweeting at the time to say it was only 100k but then Donald came out the same night and said all fees quoted are wrong and their tweets disappeared. The 200k ones from the press stayed though so more people saw them.
 
A young lad called Mbappe. Personally never heard of him and I doubt he’s ever played at this level so I’m unsure(!)
