Why? Perfectly good decision. I don’t understand what the commentator is twisting about, unless he’s got a bet on Derby.

The correct decision was made, although it somewhat kills a goal celebration wondering if the goal will stand.
Shouldn't have been used there. That is exactly the sort of example people talk about when they say it'll kill the game.

Gave the goal - Derby fans go crackas, then they take about a minute to look at VAR and say he was a fanny hair offside so no goal. How are you going to perfect that?

Think they should put replay up for the crowd. Should also be clear and obvious not when it's literally a toe end

It doesn’t though because when a goal goes in, you celebrate regardless.
You have to think if that was us who conceded, would you be happy for it to stand even though it’s offside, because it would’ve taken 30 seconds to check?
Officials will get used to it, the timing will get shorter. And the definitions around offside will be tightened.

It's absolute shite. Danny Murphy for once made a good point saying that it ruins the moment of a goal being scored.
If they must have it then the way it's used should be restricted so that it corrects only genuinely clear and obvious errors - so e.g. the video refs are allowed maybe two replays at full speed from all available angles. IMO it should only be used to correct something a referee with a correct view would have been able to see in real time.
