At this point we are desperate for Grigg to sign and I think we'll struggle to go up otherwise.
 
I hope we don't sign him, his record in the championship is poor....Clearly there's no longterm plan at the club or desire to build a squad capable of surviving or being promoted from the championship, if promoted from this shitty league.

Apparently Donald, Charlie and juan heard that if a team reaches the Premier league then they would receive at least 120 million even if that team finished bottom but the rumour is that they thought fuck that I'd rather make nowt languishing in the championship for eternity

We need out of this league first. And it's by no means certain at the moment. And I'd say unlikely if we lose Maja and don't replace him. So we need someone who will score goals in League One and not get ahead of what hopefully be a very busy summer in preparation for the Championship

Any striker with a good record of scoring in the Championship will be playing for a team in the Championship or Premier League. They're not going to be signing for a team in League One.

Even if he just scores the goals to get us up, it’s better to just have that then sign somebody who doesn’t and we stay in this bum league for another season.

his record in the championshop is adequate and better than maja..if he were our best striker in the championship we would be fucked..but he could be our best in league one and get us promoted..

Don’t count your chickens. Another season in this league might not be the worst thing for us. Imagine getting humped in the Championship again like we did last season. This squad would probably get relegated from the Championship as it’s hardly setting league 1 on fire.

Or maybe as we are in league one it's difficult to sign players who are already proven championship standard?

Just a thought. And next season we won't be able to sign players of proven premier League quality. Prepare yourself now.

I find it frankly incredible how many fans think how easy it is to sign players who are proven to be too good for the league we are in. It's bizarre

I don't think the gap between lower championship and top of league one is that big really. All three promoted clubs are out of the bottom three at the moment, having signed James Vaughan, Jack Rodwell and Billy Jones.
