His agent went to Sky before informing the club. It was going to be public regardless, by doing this Donald has got in front of the story and at a stroke, the player will still be supported by the fans as it's his agent that's the problem, not the player. If sky had broke this news first, then the stories of Maja agreeing to the contract and then refusing to sign would be the story, people would get on his back and it would be counter productive to try to keep him. As is, the fans will still support him and we control the narrative and it becomes "evil nasty double crossing greedy agent" rather than "greedy player".

Well played to me

No it doesn't......it Shows Maja's as weak as piss......the fans will be on his back, should be made to train with the U17's

Agents are a f***ing cancer that football would do well to eradicate. Reading Simon Jordan’s book at the moment and he despises the kernts.
Would be better all round if all players were represented by The PFA.

On Maja , unless we can get a sale and loan back , we should keep him as the transfer fee will not be worth the cost of possibly losing out on promotion

Why do players at this level even need agents? A ronaldo or Messi you can argue would need one for sponsors etc but a league 1 player? Na it’s not right. The most players at this level need is a lawyer.
Unless you think your a young Ronaldo or Messi

So they can negotiate better deals with higher wages

Why would his agent go with the story to sky? It just doesn’t make sense
