Piss take about what? The fact the last time you beat Sunderland you were reciting your 6x table?
I’d imagine it’s because that in over 130 years of history, it’s the first time your first team has been reduced to playing our 2nd team.

Piss take about what exactly? The fact that you wanted 5,000 tickets for a game none of you care about and a club you consider inferior?
None of you turning up and a load of us attending would surely have been far better suited to such piss taking?
Which is precisely why I am not interested. In about five months when our first teams are in the same division it’ll be a different matter.I’d imagine it’s because that in over 130 years of history, it’s the first time your first team has been reduced to playing our 2nd team.
I actually hoped that your second paragraph would have been true. A full house in the home end getting worked up against the kids in front of no away fans would have been very nice indeed.
Like I say above, after 130 plus years we finally have a 1st string v 2nd string. For some it’s too good to miss.
Any truth in the rumour that they were wearing Mike Ashley masks and capes made out of Sports Direct placca bags?
Jesus, a handful of kids turning up to take the piss with their Shrewsbury mates has really wound you up.
I really suggest you swerve that reserve cup game.
Who?
Already got my ticket mate. Me and my mates were in that pub at Shrewsbury after the game down there before we realised what we had walked into and out cover was blown after about two minutes. We were fine and stood our ground but it was very confrontational and not a pleasant place to be and definately not pleasant people to be with. When we go away we tend to treat opposition fans (and indeed everyone we meet) with respect and be friendly as we try our best to do things that reflect well on Sunderland as both a city and a club. In there we were met with threats of violence and intimidation. If they are the sort you like to mix with then crack on mate. They left us with an impression that reflected badly on both Shrewsbury Town and Newcastle United. Thankfully we stayed over and met plenty of reasonable Shrewsbury fans later on and I know those few idiots do not make up the majority of their fan base but sadly they are the ones who also came up here at the weekend and met up with your idiots again and they are the ones who will leave the lasting impressions on most who did not have the luxury of a night out in Shrewsbury.
The one saving grace is that their actions have saved us from having to put up with 5,000 mags on the 8th of January and we now just have to deal with 2,800. From a Sunderland point of view on every level that is great news so thank them from me for finally doing an act of kindness.
Please feel free to head over to your forums and indeed Shrewsbury's and thank them all from us.

Weren't kids most in 40s plus looking for bother fact..Jesus, a handful of kids turning up to take the piss with their Shrewsbury mates has really wound you up.

Yeh it backfired on them facts not mag stories...Not sure they did much looking tbf.
Just covering himself for the defeatBut you've just said you don't recognise the game as being significant
Aye for those with very few brain cellsI actually hoped that your second paragraph would have been true. A full house in the home end getting worked up against the kids in front of no away fans would have been very nice indeed.

Like you think it will be our first team that beats you?
Really?
We fielded our reserves at Morecambe mate, that was XI changes from the previous game. The question you need to ask yourself is this.
Are your premier league U21 side good enough to beat a level three teams reserves (i.e. effectively our U21/U23 side?) I suspect you will get your arses handed to you on a plate. Hopefully the full 2,800 will be forced to stay to the end for security reasons. If I was Stuart Donald I would raise the price of the beer in the away end as we could make a fortune as most of your lot will be watching the second half from the bar.
Enjoy the game.
.
I’ve just noticed you have been on here for 7 + years & have placed 4,000 + messages ??? ffs
We really are your life

The 'lads' in the beer garden down at the New Meadow were older than me (I am 52). Some of them probably have a free bus pass. Loads of wannabee young uns hanging on as well mind, but the ring leaders were old enough to know better if not quite old enough to remember Newcastle winning a domestic trophy. We are definately not talking about a few daft kids here.[/QUOTE '' '' '' '' '
