That was called Night Will Fall and is probably the most harrowing of all the documentaries I`ve seen and featured footage that had been left off his original documentary as being too shocking. I believe they felt it would demonise Germany to such an extent that they would never be able to rehabilitate them back into a civilised Europe,

There is a difference between a concentration camp and an extermination camp.
Term coined by the USA.

The term itself originated in 1897 when the "reconcentration camps" were set up in Cuba by General Valeriano Weyler. In the past, the U.S. government had used concentration camps against Native Americans and the British had also used them during the Second Boer War.

They were doing this in the American Civil War long before the British tactic employed to deal with guerilla/terrorists in the Boer War.
