None of that was ever in doubt to be honest.
Going to chin a few phones boxes on the way to the ground. Any horse that dares to show will be smacked right in the dish.

That convenience store on Roker Baths Road is going to be yelled at too. I won't be holding back either. I mean it. I am going to shout at it very loudly, swear at it. You will all be shitting yourselves.

I hope there's a big crowd and a very intimidating atmosphere for their U21s, who will never played in such an atmosphere.

Frighten them to death!

Policing costs will still be horrific.

They will be. I just think it's pretty poor to be saying we've had to increase the price by 400% because they've requested 4,800 tickets but to then not give them them anyway. Looks like our supporters being misled rather than theirs.

Should add I'm not complaining about the price increase as such, more the poor way they've gone about justifying it.

That tactic would no doubt work for the first team but doubt the u21s will give a shit because the pressure for a win is off them

I don't think the costs would have been that much different even if they'd had the higher allocation. It could even be that the lower allocation has been at the behest of the police and not the club.

Might be an idea to announce some additional priority for final tickets, should we get there, attached to this. Might drum up some additional revenue for the club.

I’ve suggested just that to the head of the RAWA. Not sure if he’s mentioned it to the club.

I'll be taking you up on the offer of early doors drimks son

I knew you couldn’t resist going. I hope we get a good crowd.

i hope we put the prices up in the catering kiosks for their fans, like they have the last twice weve been at the landfill. 2 small bottles of Fosters £9.20, Thieving wankers!

You're basing that on absolutely nothing though, aren't you. You've completely made it up.

"We need to charge what we are because they want 4,800 tickets"

"Actually now the pricing is agreed, you're only getting 2,800"

As i say, just think it could've been handled better. Not the first time Donald has tripped himself up on twitter. Increasingly feeling he should knock it on the head now.

no, its based on the securing of the perimeter of the ground. as previously mentioned, we own a lot of the land around the ground and therefore have to cover higher costs once the rozzas step foot on the land. this is opposite to the wongerderm, that owns fuck all around it and therefore isn't liable for as much.

(All of this could well be wrong and happy to be fact checked but im sure we spoke about this last year)
