Cementing our place in the play offs or above - Barnsley in 7th are 7 points behind us with a game more played.

Win at Pompey (easier said than done like) and we'll be two points off them with a couple of games in hand.

We're doing well given how up and down we are in games. First half we looked terrible, second half we generally looked a class above. You feel we'll be there at the end? I'm optimistic but lord it can be heart stopping at times.

We've scored in every league game, the only side in the country who can say that, so we're doing something right. But our points tally of 43 from 20 games I think flatters us. I hope we do strengthen in January by bringing in a decent CB and a further striking option as that will for me ensure that we end up in the top 2. We need to back in the Championship at the end of this season - from there for me it's fine to have a few years of sensible resturcturing and rebuilding, before looking to make the huge step back up to being a PL club. We can't languish around in League 1, it's nothing football and the enthusiasm of the new ownership, and the unusual situation of winning a few games, will quickly come crashing down I suspect.

Our points tally is good, vital and is what it is. I don’t really care about it flattering us. We just need points and we got 3 today

Whether we get promoted or not next season is going to require some serious long term restructuring. I just can't see us competing if we loose key players.
Step by step. We just need to go up this season

Great result, poor performance, did Ruiter save that last minute shot that hit the bar or was he all over the place for no reason?

Hand on heart I think we'll end up in the play-offs. We're a bit too sloppy at the back and I think we've got away with it more often than can be sustainable, but I could very well be wrong.

A few steely and controlled performances, even if against teams near the bottom, would reassure me a bit more.

good teams always finda way to get it done, and thats what we are doing. the chairman has said that there is money to strenghten in jan, and there is an "aggresive plan" to go up to premier league in two seasons/..there is no doubt we ned a lot of new players for that..as the season goes on it becomes mare apparent how limited the likes of baldwin and maguire are, and how they wont make the step up.

the manager has said his style will mean we always concede a few but score a few..we are now in a very strong position..two games in hand..
