Jack Rodwell v Johnny Williams

Indeed it was quite emotional and he came across well. I still think williams had a bit too much airtime though and was portrayed as a huge difference to our season when in reality if he was fit all season he wouldn’t have made an iota of difference. His comeback against Boro was hailed as this return of the maestro kind of narrative which I think is so wrong. Would have liked to see more of Watmore. Rodwell is a tosser or the highest order, utter wanker.

I agree totally in regards to his importance to the team, but what this documentary did very very well was bring out the human side of players that we'd otherwise not see. Williams obviously cared and it hurt him as a person to not play. It's as clear as anything that Rodwell was the polar opposite.

Williams.

Another fuckin joke.
In his contribution on the pitch, no doubt. But a good documentary goes beyond that and this showed him to be a lad that struggled emotionally and physically but still gave his all throughout. In comparison to Rodwell who didn't even go through the motions and even made decisions solely to benefit himself to the detriment of the club, I'd pick him a million times.

Didn't Jonny Williams get done in in a club the night we got relegated because he was giving it the biggun.

Yet him and rodwell probably contributed the same last year. Both will have scored 1 goal

I’ve still no idea why we signed Williams. His injury record his whole career is horrendous.
Cringed at the point our physio was reeling off his injuries to Bain and then they kind of just went, yeah that's fine. Talk about a red f***ing flag.

For what it's worth, I really liked Williams on the pitch. One of the few that actually made things happen when he got the ball and actually looked to move forward with it.
