I feel your pain. Not that I know of.
It's all plastic Co Durham mags round here![]()
I think it is. Focus on the checkatrade and trip to wembo. It’s probably the same ones saying they are glad to be knocked out of the FA Cup.....
Northumbria police will be the winners here, they will be absolutely quids in. Tbh marra the price of the tickets doesn't bother me. I think it's poor not having an ST priority phase, and I don't think we should be giving them nearly 5k tickets.People are over estimating the policing costs by some way imo as well as like you say underestimating how many will want to go. I see no more than 15k and even at 10 quid a ticket the policing costs would of been covered with cash to spare
No self respecting fan should attend this game. An utter abortion of a situation and an embarrassment all round. Any minute now the checkatrade fan boys will be on telling me we should try and win this cup and day out at wembo blah blah blah. Our first team playing mags kids in a competitive match ffs.
Free cancellation?. Although its still cheap enough in the premier inn in the town £32.50.Hilton booked already (before the price goes up). No way am I staying in Newcastle for this one.

The price doesn't bother me but I see where people are coming from.. I stated on a different thread is cost sunderlsnd 55k in policing costs for the boro game last season and that was throughout the whole of the ground. Wed do well to hit 20k for this
Aye exactly what will happen mateIt'll be a load of young uns who watched Stoke smashing up toilets etc at Port Vale and will want to get themselves on Youtube doing similar.

I'm not sure why you're bothered about the ST priority period? It's not as if the game is going to sell out so I don't see what benefit we'd have got from a priority period? My only gripe is not being able to get my ST seat. If we're spending £15 a ticket then surely, even with increased police costs, we could afford to open the whole lower tier to our fans. My season card only works out at about £13.50 a game, I know others are more expensive but, if we get a decent crowd, I don't think takings will be massively lower than a normal league game. Maybe they're anxious it'll be a really low crowd like, but it seems a shame not to open it fully
Yep. Book through the hotel, sign up to the Hilton points scheme, and they give you a discounted flexible rate (can cancel up to the day before)
Probably wants to book his usual seat. I have to say that part of me is thinking about holding back on ordering in case my usual spot in the West Stand ends up on sale.
Another element is that the EFL cover any losses incurred in staging games in the Group Stage, they stop doing that for knockout games.I'm not particularly bothered about the price, naturally needs to be higher due to higher costs, but I can understand some finding it a bit of a jump from £3 to £15 to watch what is still a match against a team of kids, regardless of whether you consider it nowt or not. Now the owner has explained it I'd hope people will just decide whether they want to go or not and leave it at that (I'll be there), but I can understand the initial reaction
