When the mags get their allocation from us are we able to tell them who they are allowed to sell them to, eg, season ticket holders only? Or is it up to them who they sell them to? I am not bothered they are getting tickets myself but it would be ridiculous if they just decided to let anyone buy them, that would be asking for trouble.
 
Official Checkatrade Trophy ticket regulations state: “In all matches the Visiting Club shall have the right to claim up to 10 per cent of all tickets reserved or otherwise sold in advance, subject to the consent of the League".

Surely this means WE decide how many tickets there’ll be in total and give them 10%. So if we decide to just open the East and South Stands = approx 15k, they would get approx 1,500. Someone tell Donald before it’s too late ffs.

Certainly reads that way. I suppose it depends on how many the club think they will sell, and in turn, make available for sale.

If we did that, then we wouldn't be able to open up any more of the stadium if the East and South sold out. They need some flexibility in the event of high demand, as people would be rightly pissed off if they couldn't because we weren't able to open the West, say.

Why not? If we do sell out the East and South Stands (unlikely btw) we simply make another block of, say, 1k available in the SWC. If the Mags twist, we give them another 150.

But if SD thinks we have to give them 10% of capacity, he’s being very badly advised by his Security Officer.

The complaints about the ticket price are typical of this place - especially given the large number of non attendees that kick the club constantly.

I do, however, believe people have the right to voice concerns about the policing. By now, we should all know the problems which a large away allocation could cause - not least to the club’s finances. In addition, given the nature of the game, we could see a lot of trouble.

FWIW, I’ll be there for the game, just like I have been for every home cup and league game for years, but I can’t help but feel the club and police would have been better off just banning away fans. If NP allow 3000 mags to come through, then it’s pure stupidity
 
I had no plans on going when it was first announced and I definitely have no intention on going now after seeing it’s £15 a pop.

It’s an absolute nightmare of a draw.

I'm not particularly bothered about the price, naturally needs to be higher due to higher costs, but I can understand some finding it a bit of a jump from £3 to £15 to watch what is still a match against a team of kids, regardless of whether you consider it nowt or not. Now the owner has explained it I'd hope people will just decide whether they want to go or not and leave it at that (I'll be there), but I can understand the initial reaction
