Would you have preferred it at St.
James or are you happy having it at SOL?

Did anybody from your side of the fence actually want this draw ?
Nothing to do with win / lose / draw, I’d have thought that your best 11 having to play your nearest and dearest bairns, in your own back garden, in what is a competitive game for lower league teams, just a bit embarrassing to be honest ?

Thoughts ?

Turn up in our droves it’s biggest game of our season v their bairns.

Don’t turn up shows how poor our support is.

Beat them well only beat their kids.

Lose how much embarrassing losing to their young uns.

No win this one mind.
Smash them and move a step closer to Wembley. Al take that as a win. A small victory but a win none-the-less. It was the best draw possible for us imo.

Of course we'd rather face your senior side as we have a mental vice lock on them, and they are absolutely unable to beat us, but this will be a fun night of mag destruction nonetheless.

I understand why people didn’t want it but I'm looking forward to it now. It'll add a bit spice to the season and I'm sure you lot will sell your allocation to make it feel like a "normal" derby.

Train tkts booked. Hotel booked for the night.

Not missing this fucker.

Ha'waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay MAIDSTONE FTM:cool:

We should obviously step aside and let the Barcelona of the North's U21's continue their triumphant march to Wembley.

Excuses in early fearing a hammering methinks.

Why is it embarrassing, we are in league 1 and we play in the check a trade trophy we knew this from the start of the season we haven't played our best 11 as you put it in this competition all season.

It's more embarrasing holding mock funerals, shouting venom at shop windows and punching a defenceless horsie tbh

I’m sure we’ll sell a lot of tickets because as you correctly say, it adds a bit of spice. I’m sure it’ll be more daft bairns, probably from both sides who snap up tickets. Standard reserve game clientele.
My point, and I’m not looking for bites, was that it would be a tough reminder of where you are having to play our kids.

Of course shouting at shops is more embarrassing, in not saying it isn’t, but that’s not the point here.
My point, wether some may agree or not, is that in my opinion having to sit in your own ground watching your first team have to play our kids is not where Sunderland should be. It’s embarrassing ( and that’s for want of a better word ) because Sunderland is a big club, with big history and a long rivalry with Newcastle United, you’re now at the level of playing our kids.

I did. Do you think we didn't know we were in league 1 before the draw like? Do you think we didn't know we were your world before the draw? It's not like loads of mags on here, and loads of mags watching our games didn't happen before the draw is it? I can't wait to beat yous again. Which 2 over 21 players do you think you will play by the way? Do you want your best 2 players in the team for a checkatrade trophy game you laugh at, or would you rather Rafa played just the U21s?

You do know it's a cup game don't you? Man city etc could draw non league teams in the cup. It doesn't mean they are at that level. You must try harder than that ya mad Squirrel
