I live and was brought up in an area where its half Sunderland and half Newcastle. I don't remember why I became a Sunderland supporter. Its times like these I am thankful for my choice. Unbelievably embarrassing.

Agreed. But that tweet came from a supporters group - one that’s been featured in the press and has the ear of the local MP.
Ah to be fair I didn't really pay attention to who had created it. Just read the quote, shook my head, had a chuckle at the daft twat then started reading the comments.

I respect the fact they're trying to acheive something, but disagree with their methods. Pointless going to shout at the shops, walk in late could be good if it was 100% supported but there's no clear message or plan, and plenty of supporters are happy to laugh at them. Not sure there's much point in it unless there's a willing buyer, but doing something is better than nothing.
That protest in London with about 9 people was just virtue signalling for the exiled ones.

Unless it puts off a willing buyer ......

So when the Orks win, Fat Spaneesh's a tactical genius, picks up players for bargain fees, when they lose its Fattys fault 'cos he never spent £100m on strikers.....
So no cheque book no Fookin chance....
