Funnily enough was talking to the gooner nephew yesterday and described that goal last home game of the 19 point season when Henry scored early on in the 0-4 drubbing. You watched him glide across the pitch with a pissed Mickey Gray huffing and puffing blowing out of his arse.

We were long since doomed to relegation but watching the likes of Bergkamp, Henry and a particularly on-fire Ljungberg putting is out of our misery was memorable.

We were in the NE corner that day and rose as one to applaud Henry when he came over to take a corner.

Giggs v Arsenal in the cup I don’t think ive seen a better goal than that.

Eric Cantona is a player there, Mr Tip, not a goal. Any particular goal in mind?

It shouldn’t really need any further explanation. The goal where he was teed up by Brian McClair and, after Richard Ord and dariusz kubicki were all but put on their backsides, the Frenchman chipped the ball over a hapless Lionel Perez and into the top corner. The iconic celebration and look on Perez’ face was as good as the goal itself

Haway man in the OP I said it had to have a Lads connection, most of these don't even have a tenuous Lads connection, been some great goals though so crack on.

As most are ignoring the 'but SAFC related' bit in the OP, I'll hoy in Archie Gemmill V Netherlands in 1978.
