You do realise that the term is based largely on the political persuasion of a person - not just colour of skin? Don't you?

Political persuasion is malleable. Your Gammon hue isn’t. If you want to stop being a Gammon and start being a good comrade to POC massive changes need to be made to your life Ben. To POC you are just Gammon living amongst Gammon in a Gammon town.

Well the term wouldn't really work if it wasn't white people, the meme's floating about beg to differ and you yourself literally drew racist dividing lines on the issue

But gammons have divided THEMSELVES from decent society ... their choice.

Unlike foreigners, people of colour and those with an education (or at least an ability to extrapolate the obvious from rhetoric & lies)

Debunking Brexit twaddle about EU wine tariffs

I'd be amazed if any EU tariffs were higher than basic WTO tariffs.

Tim Martin's big idea is to drop tariffs for imports into the UK which would have a devastating effect on our food and drink producers at home, but he'll not care as long as he gets some cheap shite to knock out in his pubs.
I haven't got time atm but I'll read up on that later. If you see anything else floating about like this, send it my way, cheers.

Give us a clue?

To properly leave the European Union I imagine. I wouldn't want to put words in their mouths.

I'm going to retire from the conversation if allowed as I doubt any rational discussion could take place, just political leaning rhetoric.

I can understand that.

So what do they say wetherspoons do that is so bad?

I honestly have not heard this and as part of my family was in the pub trade (and to an extent still is) for years they haven't had this experience of wetherspoons, in fact many seem to be quite happy about them turning up cos they usually takeover a down and out or derelict place, give it a splash of paint and get people to go to that area of the town/city for starting drinks before people bustle into their pubs. In thirsk I knew a pub who's owner said spoons helped turn the town centre around and they certainly didn't appear to want a fight over customers but for the town to share its customers so everyone did well.

I can imagine this being true as I remember Martin talking once about the fact that basically a spoons cant survive by itself, they all need each other when he was promoting his lower VAT stunt (something which would benefit smaller pubs but they obviously cant afford to undertake those protests as they dont have the cash)

:lol::lol::lol:

From what I can remember, having spoken to staff and former staff at Wetherspoon's, is that when they order beer from independent breweries they drive an extremely hard bargain. Including, but not always demanding they send an extra barrel free.
Basically because they're Spoons and it's "good advertising" etc when really it can be the difference between a loss and breaking even for some breweries.
I just think it's wrong.

A lot of ale they sell is mass produced and not always kept well. Don't get me wrong, you can get some good pints in there now and again, but in the main you're not going to get a great pint for under £2 are you.

It's the same kind of financial problem as farmers have with supermarkets and milk.

Yet you contribute with using terms like gammon, and alluding to lack of education.

Can you not see by using terms you are contributing to this divide?

Look at the reaction to your post on here for further evidence.

He is one of the most devisive posters on here with his antagonistic drivel.

He sums up the attitude of many remainers but not all. 'Agree with me otherwise you are stupid' has been the tone set by them from the start.

They are in a strong position....sadly.

"The weak get crushed as the strong grow stronger".

He is a problematic poster, but he’s repetitive, isn’t that smart and appears to easily blow his lid. I would ‘t worry that much about him, he posts nasty stuff but there’s quite a few posters who can dispatch him when necessary, as we’ve seen a few times now.

I hope he keeps it up actually, it helps pass the time when I'm bored at work.

My OP wasn't an opinion, I was just stating facts. Helping other SMB folk, if you will.
You're a bit of an arrogant shit. You trill and waffle about division caused by brexit after posting -

- "Wetherspoons will be RAMMED full of Brexit voting morons"

I know the normal thing in here is to post crudd like that then sit back as the likes come flooding in. Now though even remainers are getting sick of your kind and this thread has massively backfired.
Btw, this isn't my opinion I'm just stating facts. Hope it's helped you.

Here we go. Joseph's will be gutted at the trade they're missing out on.

Wetherspoons will be RAMMED full of Brexit voting morons throwing lager down their necks and worshipping this f***ing tramp.

He's a real-life Al Murray. The tragedy is, just like Alf Garnett, so many don't recognise the obvious fact the The Pub Landlord is a pastiche. A piss take.

But this is real life. Very scary.

JD Wetherspoon founder coming to Sunderland pub for chat about Brexit
Calm down Ben lad.
He's just a bloke with an alternative opinion to yours.

I only go to Spoons now if I have CAMRA vouchers to use and even then I don't really need to use them. I get CAMRA discount at other, better pubs.
I'd rather give my money to The Beer School :)
Support the locals. We certainly don't want to live in a Wetherspoons world, or any world dominated by a single entity.
