Their fans were very good tbh.
Close to villa / wolves / baggies etc , but support Walsall. Good on them.
I spoke to loads, and they were all really helpful and nice. No shit songs in the stadium (opposed to the awful ‘my garden shed’ and one f***ing horrendous outing of ‘Walsall is a shithole , I wanna go home - please never ever sing this ever again)

Top club, nice fans, not wankers at all

You seem to think I sang those songs, I didn’t, feel free to rescind your comments. Whilst your on it, feel free to inform your new friends that were not all peados.

Draws against the mighty Wycombe and walsall...the stuff of dreams :lol::lol:

I have to say, I'm thoroughly enjoying watching a team of grafters who clearly give a shit about playing for SAFC and will scrap all the way to the end.....then go f***ing beserk when they get a leveller away at Walsall.

It's a far cry from the overpaid tossers who felt they were doing us a favor by turning up when we were in the PL who clearly only cared about the cash.

I'm very surprised to be saying this, but I'm enjoying the games more than I did the vast majority of our PL stay. Now if we can get back there with a group of lads with this same attitude we might have a better time of it.

Seeing that picture of Gooch celebrating and the video of O'nein and Honeyman when the goal went in has warmed my icy heart. Never thought I'd see Adam Mathews up on the sponsor boards being mobbed.

League one isn't where we want to be next year, but it's where we are now and I am enjoying the ride.

Just back to my digs in Stafford, watching some clips and reading RTG and I guarantee our enjoyed our 2-2 at Walsall is better than any of your resgMeso this season. Says a lot about where our clubs are of course but days more about where you are ‘are’ ya sad bastard!

Best season following The Lads for me so far! I'm too young (just) to have not witnessed our last division 3 campaign.

What I'm most proud of is not only the fact that our hardcore support has rallied around the club. But much more important the owners, manager & players have reconnected with us.

You lot can only dream of a real display of raw passion & emotion like today.

2 divisions below you & in typical mag style, a bitter enough wanker to be posting on here.

Surely there is a load of shop shouting to be arranged over the Xmas period? Or has now been forgotten seen as you've won a couple of football matches?

Spot on.

Two divisions below them and we're all they've got to give a shit about.

You're right about the connection too. Obviously we all want our club to be successful but there's a real joy in knowing the owner, management and players feel it as much as we do whatever happens. You can't simulate that kind of thing, which is why the PL often seems so soul-less despite the abundance of talent.

Good post.

Lads, just stop giving spunkbubble the oxygen he craves

I know it's fairly easy to take the piss, but that's exactly what he gets off on.

Having said that the blokes an absolute bulb who probably thinks that Sunday for Sammy (good cause that it is) is the epitome as funny as fuck

Loving all the snide digs we're getting from other clubs' "supporters", what are you meant to do when your team grab a last minute equaliser when you were down to ten men for most of the game? Best of all them up the road giving it big licks, they invaded the pitch at Darlo in a preseason game for christ's sake
