Doubt it was. He's pretty good with community stuff, it's just a shame the press never mentioned it when they tried to ruin him
BBC, Chronicle and Cricket World are all running it. Don't think Ben's too bothered either way but it can't do any harm with his FTECB disciplinary hearing coming up next month.

It's on the cricket homepage but let's be honest it won't be headline news anywhere because nobody other than Durham fans will really be that bothered. Good on him though, great gesture.
