Up until 1959, we were the only club to have never played outside of the top flight of English football. Newcastle had played Second Division, and Northern League football in that time.

We're still the 6th most successful English league club in history.

But that's only taking a recent snapshot surely. Is that all that counts?
I think it's a fact that they are bigger now . Obviously years ago when we were winning League titles etc. that wouldn't have been the case .
The most important thing is we have always been and remain a better club. Look at how they have treat their supporters for years!

1958, we got relegated for the first time in 1957-58 season.
