Aye, he gives some bullshit excuse here https:// but I went to school with him and he was ripping the piss out of the mags, the morning after the play off win.
Two years later, Keegan arrives, all of a sudden he's a big black and whiter

:lol:

I assume he doesn't take questions on the subject?

How old was he when he changed?

He would have been 13/14. We were in last year of Cheviot Juniors when the play off game happened.

Having read the article, and from what you have said, it sounds like he was swept along on the Keegan bandwagon.
Suppose with no real roots in the area or family dictating your choice it might be easier to change.

I know of somebody who was a match going Newcastle fan up to the age of 12 or 13 and then started supporting Sunderland in the Reid/Philips promotion season, and his dad and family are all black and white.

He might even get on here.

He was from South Shields so not exactly foreign to the area mate

Micky Quinn: "Rafa's a tactical genius, there's no disputing that. The way he sets the team up to sit back and always stay in the game, with the players he has at his disposal. He's a world class manager, no doubt."

f***ing hell, unbelievable. :oops::oops::lol::lol:
