Barry McCarthy has left due to international career with Ireland (didnt realise he was 26!!!)

Gareth Harte (2 year extension) and Ben Whitehead (development contract) sign deals

Harte deserves his deal and Whitehead should take huge credit for the improvement he has made since being released from the Academy a couple of years ago.

Barry didn't come through the Academy and was 22 when he joined us. When England played in Ireland he was one of the net bowlers provided. Stokes was quite impressed and put forward his name to Lewis for a trial.
