FFS man, they're absolutely insane.
In the late 90's Brighton were almost relegated from the 4th division, they had to play at Gillingham for 3 seasons and were bailed out by public donations.
And the Mags want their supporters to protest against Ashley because of Newcastle's net spend

I am really trying to be fair to them and understand what Ashley has really done that they hate. The Hall/Shepherd business model was about to fall apart and they could easily have done a Portsmouth - obviously without winning anything.
I would imagine their current finances are amongst the top 10 best in British football.
