His power as a batsman was woefully underused whilst here. To the point of it being infuriating. Watching Muchall & Callum McLeod paddle it around for 46 overs then send JH in with 2 dozen balls left.

Yep, don’t disagree they could smash it but I’d say Hastings had more power than them.

Some of the best batting I’ve seen in a t20 was a hundred plus partnership by Hastings and Macleod v Yorkshire iirc
