All your data can be backed up on a usb , Might be better just to upgrade if you have the money, but every town as a repair shop for screens phones and tablets etc

If it's a few years old just buy a new one, not worth repairing imo.

I’m taking it to a repair place for a quote. The crack is preventing me from accessing it as I’ve got it locked with a pin required and the screen doesn’t react to when I try to input the pin

Our lass smashed mine day before we went on holiday, took it to GHI in Sheels, they said it wasn't worth fixing. Took it to 1 of those little independant mobile repair shops, the 1s all over ran by Indian/Pakistanis. £40 good as new and done before 10am the next morning. So it's worth asking a few places

You'll need to replace its touchscreen(just hope that the existing one isn't glued to the LCD panel)

I've just had mine repaired. £50 for normal or £60 for reinforced. I went for reinforced now I've got big fingers and thumbs but would advise to go for normal. Since its been reinforced its a pain to type.

Nothing in particular. I got an iPad years ago but just can't get away with it. End up just using my phone. Can't find a use for the iPad that makes it more convenient other than the boy using it for Netflix

I find a tablet easy for things I use it for. Right panic on when it got cracked today
