were champions when the bridge opened. No chance of that happening again with the current pack of charlatans ruining

Aye, no chance of Nazi Germany trying to create another thousand year Reich, the first Nuclear bomb or man to walk on the Moon for the first time either

I actually can't comprehend mags. They seem to have no understanding of their position in football. The 6 (SIX!) total years they spent near the top of English football in the mid-90s and early-00s are a complete anomaly from the rest of their history. They have been in D2/Championship in every decade except for the 1950s, yet for some bizarre reason they think they are part of the upper echelons of English football.

A baffling race.

But still enjoy a bit of gravy.

They've spent more seasons outside the top flight than what they've ever finished in the top 3 of the top flight. In fact Sunderland have finished top 3 more often than Newcastle.

Exactly. There's been no chance of it happening under any Chairman/Owner for the past 90 years apart from Hall for that short period of time and even then they failed.

  1. That’s very kind, Wallace. I have family commitments (and will be away until next Tuesday) but I genuinely appreciate the offer. If you have time on Wednesday this week, please feel free to DM if you’d like to meet for a coffee. Cheers.

The ironic thing to this is that Michael Martin cannot spend time with his family

If true, that's a fantastic stat.
