No, they were campaigning about what they perceive to be Ashley’s mistreatment of Newcastle United.

You think there is no right to protest and I do.

I get why you lean a bit more to this just paints Newcastle fans in a bad light but it’s not as if Ashley’s record of mistreatment is unblemished and his behaviour (and the subsequent protests against it) is consistent more or less across all of his business interests.

No, but I tend to look at the whole picture when judging someone.

If someone behaves like a prick in a certain area, it’s going to be hard for him not to be a prick in other areas. Ashley’s working practice in other areas of his interests has probably led to a softening of the stance of ‘deluded geordies’ that was more or less the norm across the media.
 
Ashley runs the club in a reckless manner. But what else really can be expected of him? He has admitted to placing £500,000 on the spin of a roulette wheel when he visits casino's. It is just the way he is.

People shouting at shops and restaurants is not really going to bother him. He literally won't give a fuck.

You won't find me protesting. It is a tragically embarrassing waste of time.

This is funny as owt. I'm honestly enjoying what their 'fans' keep doing. It seems impossible that they can't possibly embarrass themselves any further and so I stop laughing for few days, maybe even a week. Then the fuckers manage it, to lower their dignity yet further. He doesn't run it in a reckless manner. Your supporters seem to want him to, but he is running you as a successful business.
Admittedly not every supporters dream, but it could be a lot worse.

It is getting to the point when I celebrate us having a shot, or maybe getting a corner. It happens about once every 3 games.

That's nothing to do with Ashley though. Yes, he may not be allowing FSW to waste more money but even some of your fans have questioned the tactics used. He's setting you up to either draw or not lose heavily, rather than actually trying to win games.

It’s down the manager as much as you don’t want to admit it. Even if the squad was out of its depth it’s still possible to set up a team to attack the opposition, especially at home
