They're an odd lot.

Before the game, we were a tinpot little club that should be honoured to welcome them to our humble abode, and there to be swept aside.

After the game, we're an established PL club, and its a very decent point against a very tough side...

They missed a last minute penalty at Cardiff and gained just a point.
Today, Palace missed a late sitter to gift them one point.
Two points. Two measly points is the sum total of all Benitez''s work since July.
They're not unlucky either. Just not playing well.

This makes no sense whatsoever though. Went to the bother of looking up the cost of each starting XI and it was Palace 109 million Newcastle 57 million. If there isnt a massive gulf in class quality wise that only proves Benitez is matching teams who are spending double his. Which is not the point of this thread.

Doubt any Newcastle fan alive was expecting to sweep you aside yesterday, Ashley has destroyed any sort of expectations of beating anyone in this league, your starting eleven cost almost double ours so a point for us is a good result. Although judging by this boards reaction,beating Rochdale at home is a bigger achievement than drawing away to a expensively assembled premier league team.

Piss off man will ya you really are getting desperate now, ignoring the value or fee for the players just looking at the 2 starting line ups yesterday quality wise there isn't much difference in them.

The goalkeeper and back 4 for Palace aren't any better than yours you lot rave about your new keeper and lascelles for a start.

The midfield of Palace is nowt special with mcarther and ayew in there and no better than yours you lot think shelvey should be playing for England and you were over the moon when benitez re signed Kenedy also diame was one of your best midfielders last season.

Up front apart from Zaha there isn't much difference in quality

Stop going on like benitez picked a starting 11 of league 1 players man
