To claim there are degrees of racism is as pathetic as your effort at being patronising.

As predicted you are twisting the discussion in an attempt to disassociate yourself from the racial slur quoted.

Rambling on about name calling is a sideshow.

Unless he shouted it directly at Maja, he wasn’t racially abusing anyone really. He made a racist comment to others around him. Splitting hairs maybe but there’s a distinction.

I wouldn’t go running to the police about it like but it’s a shitty thing to say in this day and age.

Not in his world. He doesn't accept racist abuse such a calling someone "black ****" is real racism (his words) despite being shown the legal definition.

Aye, to be honest I've read hundreds of your posts many of them controversial, but very few political.
Never been sure exactly where you stand on this.
Nice to see you denouncing racism where it exists.
And not for example when some Indian comedian takes umbrage to Apu from the Simpsons.

Their are definitely degrees of racism. Institutionalised, genocidal, casual among others. Lots of papers written on the subject. All bad, but definitely different.

We are not talking about degrees of racism, that was probably something he found on the internet.
They are irrelevant in this instance as the comment clearly shows a level of prejudice.
"One thing I do notice is that I never see any black persons going into bat on behalf of a white person for any racism directed at them." is not a casual remark, he has repeatedly used it on this forum.
Unacceptable and should be challenged.

The comment about Maja was clearly racist and has no place whatsoever in modern society.

I'm an open book in real life tbh ..... church going Methodist, support the Salvation Army and can't abide bullies of any kind.
 
One fan should not be classed as “fans” but the defending of the comment by some on here is sickening.

The lad used a racist taunt about a 19 years old black lad who plays for us (I don’t condone it about an opposition player either).

Those who liked the comment saying there was nothing about it, just let that sink in, are you really that type of pure scum who thinks that’s acceptable.
